Bjena geog is located near the Trongsa-Wangdue highway. There is high potential for agriculture and livestock based farming. The topography is fairly rugged with pockets of gentle southwest facing slope that are mostly under agricultural cultivation. Bjena is made up of 8 villages (Theymaykhar, Tashi Tokhar, Darjaygang, Wachay Tshukhar, Wachay Phakhar, Garshikha, Omchaygang and Ngawang) and consists of 277 no. of households. Bjena consists of an estimated area of 178.30 sq km. There are 2 community primary schools (Khotokha CPS & Teki Agona CPS), 2 ORCs, One GUp’s office under construction, one logging unit and one BHU GR II. Currently the construction of a farm road from Teki Zam to Trashila is in progress.
