Dangchu geog is also considered to be remote, with a minimal communication network and no electricity but the ongoing construction of a feeder road from Nobding to Chuba Chorten is to help increase the all round development of the geog. The topography is mainly rugged but there are gentle sloping land areas. Settlements are scattered. Dangchu is made up of 7 villages (Godang, Takshar, Tomla, Tashidingkha, Yusagang, Rethangwog and Tokailng) and consists of 185 no. of households. Dangchu consists of an estimated area of 171.10 sq km. The terrain is mostly rugged. There is one community primary school in Dangchu, a Lower Secondary School in Nobding, 1 GR II BHU in Dangchu, 1 Agrilcultural Extension Center (AEC), 1 Livestock Extension Center (LEC) and one Forest Beat Office and one Gup’s office under construction in Chuba Chorten.
