Gasetshog Gom (Upper Gaselo) geog is one of the most developed geogs in Wangdue Dzongkhag and perhaps the smallest in size as well. There are electricity and telephone connections. The geog is connected by road approximately 25 kms from the Wangdue Tsirang Highway. Gasetshog Gom is made up of 7 villages (Dapchaykha, Matshikha, Khataykha, Toshog, Dhong, Matshepoto and CHangchay) and consists of 170 no. of households. It consists of an estimated area of 28.6 sq km, with an altitude ranging from 1300 to 2200 meters above sea level. There is 1 Lower Secondary School and 1 Middle Secondary School, 1 GR II BHU, 1 RNR Center, 1 Gup’s office in Gumina, 1 PWD Regional Workshop, one power generating station and one forest range office.
