Thedtsho geog is located in the west central part of the Dzongkhag and is situated in the valley of the river Tsang Chhu. Thedtsho is made up of 4 villages (Nyashaykha, Thrine, Bajothrisa and Rinchengang) and consists of 135 no. of households. Thedtsho consists of an estimated area of 305.5 sq km. The terrain is mostly rugged. There is one Primary School (Tencholing PS), 1 Lower Secondary School (Wangdue LSS), 1 Higher Secondary School (1 Bajo HSS), I RNR research Center, 1 Regional Druk Seed Corporation, 1 Regional Agriculture Machinery Center, 1 Bank (branch of BOB), 1 post office, 1 telephone exchange, 1 Royal Bhutan Army Training Center (MTC), 1 RBA Wing (Wing XII), 1 Military Hospital, 1 BHU in Bajo and 1 Gup’s office in Bajo. The geog has easy access to market due to a good communication network. The town is due to shift from Gangthangkha to the new Bajo municipal. This geog has high potential for double cropping.
