Migtana SubPost was established in the year 2016. It was initially functioning as an ORC for Kamichu PHC. There was an outbreak of scrub typhus in the area resulting in the demise of two young lives ,Dzongkhag Health office decided to have a subpost which can cater basic health service to the people of two chiwogs. Center is one of the remotest in the dzongkhag i.e 75 km from Bajo plying through rough and narrow farm road. Currently it caters service to the people of Lawalamga and Rookha chiwogs comprising of around 400 population. One primary school is also located near the center.
