Commemorating the Social Forestry Day cum Coronation of the 4th Druk Gyalpo, Dzongkhag Administration Wangdue Phodrang initiated plantation of trees and ornamental plants to observe the day on 2nd June 2018. Dzongkhag staffs, students, staffs from Regional Offices, people from bajo throm, RBP, Dessuups, Dratshang and General Public participated to plant 2500 varieties of saplings to observe the day. This is a robust initiative by Dzongkhag Administration with financial support from the Department of Forest. The occasion was graced by the Dzongdag.
