Digital Literacy Training imparted to interested Civil Servants

ICT Sector of  Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag Administration has successfully imparted the Digital Literacy Training to some interested Civil Servants from Dzongkhag Administration, Hospital, RSTA, BAFRA, RBP, Dzongkhag Court, Forestry, RLDC and ARDC under Wangdue Dzongkhag. Any technology will be insufficient if people do not understand how to put it to effective use as part of their lives or work either they are not trained to use it or they are unable to imagine the benefits.

Therefore, the Royal Government of Bhutan has made tremendous efforts to improve and develop ICT infrastructure in the Country.  The Department of Information Technology and Telecom is implementing a digital literacy program across the country targeting wide segment of participation covering illiterate, semi-literate and literate society in the country.

The main objective of this training is to enhance the digital skills of the citizens for ICT adoption and to foster a digital literate society.
