The Annual Performance Agreement between the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Wangdue Phodrang Dzongdag for the FY 2019-2020 was signed this evening at the Conference Hall of the Dept. of Culture, Thimphu alongwith the other nineteen Dzongkhags and four Thromdes. Of the 16 objectives and 31 success indicators, Wangdue Dzongkhag’s top priority as per the agreement are on the local economic development and employment opportunity creation through focus on commercial farming, value addition on agricultural and livestock products, entrepreneurship eco-system building and tourism development.
