The vaccination program for Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag started with lighting of butter lamps, offering of Sangay menlha Moenlam led by Lam Neten and vaccination for the first receipient of the jab, Ms. Ngawang Peday, vaccinated by Ms. Goma, staff nurse after verification and screening by Ms. Priyasha Gurung, dietician, all born in the year of the Monkey, 1992.
